Poly shutters are manufactured from solid core PVC composite. These shutters are best suited for water prone areas and some of their features include:
Exceptional insulation from heat and cold; painted with UV inhibiting paint.
Panels are moisture resistant.
Safety Ratings: contains no lead and has the least flammable rating possible.
Strength Ratings: The average density of 0.62 is more rigid. Additionally, the solid poly core has a tensile strength of 2984-psi, stronger with more longevity than other synthetic and composite products on the market.
Choose White or Off-White finish.
Available in sunburst or arched panel options, with poly panels and wood frames.
Catalina panels available in 2½”, 3½” and 4½” louvers.
“Clearview” panels are available in 3½” or 4½” louvers and provide the least obstructed view, with the tilt bar placed on the back, inner edge of the panel.
Structural Parameters
Frames: can be 3 or 4 sided.
Hinges: Choose Powder Coated White or Powder Coated Off-White.
Width: Individual panels should not exceed 26” wide.
Height: Panels can be built up to 100” tall. Divider rails are required on panels that exceed 60” in height, no exceptions.
By-Pass Track: The Poly Shutter By-Pass track has wood frames and divider rails due to being over 60” in height.
No snap-together parts like less superior products.
